The Family Engagement Project is Hiring!

The Arc Tennessee's Family Engagement Program is hiring two additional Regional Family Engagement Specialists to join our team from the East Tennessee and First Tennessee Regions!

Do you have a passion for helping students with disabilities succeed? Do you have experience in education and the disabilities community? Are you a great communicator who enjoys engaging local families and educators in your region?

If so, we want to talk with you about possibly joining the team at The Arc Tennessee! We are building a team of Regional Family Engagement Specialists to serve in each CORE Region of the state of Tennessee to help expand our Family Engagement Project's work across the state. If you live in East TN or the Tri-Cities area and you meet the qualifications below, please email Jennifer Aprea at japrea@thearctn.org for more information!
QUALIFICATIONS 

·        Bachelor’s degree (experience may be substituted for education) 

·        Preference given to applicants who have experience working with children with disabilities and experience in an educational setting

·        Passion for helping students and families succeed

·        Comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups

·        Ability to work independently on a variety of projects 

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

·        Team player with flexibility and initiative

·        Computer literate using Microsoft Office Suite Software 

·        Reliable transportation
